Silvia Zingale

Silvia Zingale holds an International PhD in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences, during which she investigated the sustainability of cereal based, low input food systems using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). She now works at Agroscope’s LCA Research Group in Switzerland, focusing on nutritional LCA of food systems and diets to assess trade offs between environmental performances and nutritional outcomes. She also contributes to the EU WasteWise project, evaluating the environmental and nutritional impacts of food loss and waste and food overconsumption in the EU food system.
