Hanna Hartikainen is a Research Scientist at the Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE) with over 15 years of experience in food waste research and sustainable food systems. Her work covers all stages of the food system, applying environmental life cycle assessment (LCA), developing methods for measuring food waste, and building strategies to create impact, including designing consumer-focused interventions. She now brings this expertise to her role on the scientific coordination team of the EU Horizon project WASTEWISE.
