Berta Vidal‑Monès, PhD, is a researcher and practitioner specialising in food loss and waste prevention, sustainable food systems and public policy evaluation. She is Head of the Research Area at Fundació Espigoladors and works on European and international projects that bridge science, policy and social impact. She also delivers training to the food sector and works directly with companies and organisations to prevent food loss and waste through applied, evidence‑based approaches.
