She is an Industrial engineer and PhD in Polymer Technology with expertise in enhancing biopolymer films for food packaging. She joined AZTI in 2006. Her work is focused on monitoring food integrity. Currently, she leads the research line on food and process monitoring using techniques like vis/NIR spectroscopy and other smart sensors. Additionally, she advises food industries on implementing intelligent technologies within Industry 4.0.
