Hitoshi Hokamura

Hokamura is a pioneer in Japan’s food‑tech ecosystem and a bridge between global innovation and the Japanese food industry. After roles at Bain and Apple, he co‑founded Silicon Valley start‑up Generic Media and later led Evernote, where he began championing food‑tech.
He founded Food Tech Studio – Bites!, co‑founded SKS Japan, and co‑authored Food Tech Revolution from Nikkei. He promotes sustainable Japanese food culture and serves as Visiting Professor at Kyoto University of Arts. He is also Collaboration & Startup Advisor at Gastronomy Innovation Campus Tokyo in collaboration with BCC.
