Eva Navascués (PhD) is the R&D and innovation director at Alma Carraovejas wineries (Pago de Carraovejas, Ossian Vides y Vinos, Viña Mein, Emilio Rojo, 1076, Aiurri, and Marañones). She has led innovative projects on soil microbiology and fermentations, precision agriculture, and sustainable winemaking. Her research focuses on adaptation to climate change through the use of digital tools for irrigation management, yield prediction, and the estimation of fungal disease risk. She is associate professor at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM).
