Sustainable Meat & Digital Transformation: Two Major Challenges for the Meat Sector

The meat sector faces two key challenges. First, delivering credible sustainability results while responding to a growing global demand for animal protein that is increasingly difficult to absorb. Animal welfare, environmental impact reduction, waste minimisation, and responsible sourcing are now critical priorities.
Second, the sector must accelerate digitalisation. This session will explore the current state of digital maturity in the meat industry, the technologies being adopted, and the main barriers to transformation, through real perspectives from across the value chain.
