Cluster Food+I | Upcycling potato waste: A rural pilot for circular bioplastics

The Spanish pilot of the BRILIAN project shows how a potato processor is upcycling over 100 tonnes/year of starch from wastewater into biodegradable plastics. The session will highlight the cooperative’s motivation and present first results of packaging and agri-film prototypes developed with AITIIP and TECNO.
