Alberto holds a degree in Marine Sciences (University of Vigo) and a Master’s in Marine Environmental Protection (Bangor University, Wales). With over 20 years in the marine sector—including aquaculture and fisheries—he has worked extensively in Africa and Latin America. Former Deputy Director at EJF, he joined MSC in 2017. Since September 2024, he is MSC’s Director for Spain and Portugal.
