Elena Martínez

I studied law at the University of Navarra and worked as a self-employed lawyer in La Rioja for over ten years. In 2011, after my father’s decision to step aside, I took over the leadership of our family business, Martínez Somalo, founded in 1900 and dedicated to producing sausages and hams. Leading the fourth generation has been a challenge and a privilege. I am a member of the Executive Committee of ANICE and the CNTA Governing Council. This year, Martínez Somalo celebrates its 125th anniversary, focusing on growth, innovation, and international expansion.
