Since 2021, the company has been working on the PepsiCo Positive strategy, putting sustainability at the heart of everything it does, from how it sources its ingredients to how it manufactures and sells its products. It aims to build a Positive Value Chain that ensures the circularity of its packaging so that no plastic becomes waste. It will do this by introducing more sustainable packaging and reducing virgin fossil-based plastic by 50% across its food and beverage portfolio by 2030.
